NEUR 1004: Neuroscience Orientation Seminar

NEUR 1004 is an introduction to the field of neuroscience and includes academic and career planning for Neuroscience majors. It includes exposure to areas of practice and research, and opportunities for education, training and employment in the field.

Learning about careers in neuroscience, undergraduate research, professionalism, VT resources, and how to create an academic plan.

What is the most enjoyable part of the course? What can students learn from this part of the course?

I believe the most enjoyable part of the course is learning about the many resources Virginia Tech has to offer, building friendships, and meeting with a peer mentor to help guide you throughout the semester.
